It was a double points race on Saturday October 10th at The Barn.  There were some great races that came down to the wire with numerous lead changes.

The race of the night was the battle between Jason Craven and Mikey Avila in the Open A race.  Mike won the heat race pulling away.  In the main Mikey went out front early and Jason had a bad start.  Jason worked his way through the pack and a little over halfway through the race he found himself in second place behind Mikey.  It only took one more lap for Jason to make the pass and ended up winning by 5 bike lengths.

In the Senior A race it was Curt Brooks taking the checkered flag with Craig Scroggins and Clay Chambers rounding out second and third place.  Craig and Clay pushed Curt all the way and made him earn the 1st place trophy.

Saturday also saw the return of Caden Stoll to the track.  He is (believe it or not)  faster than last year and it showed in all of his races.  Caden won the 100 youth class with Tanner Boul coming in second.  In the 50 modified race the speed got the best of Caden and he went down on his way to receiving second place to Tyler Aldecoa. In the 50/65 x class Caden took a fist place with Allison Stacey a close 2nd

The 70/80 class grew again from last week.  With 6 riders it was a great race to watch.  Ashton Chakos returned to the track Saturday to take second place in front of Molly Jane Reitz with Tanner Boul taking top honors in the C Class.  Allison Stacey, Hayden Farriester and Justin Taylor took the podium for the B Class

Ken Robicheaux (first), Clay Chambers (second) and Adam Souza (third) entertained the crowd in the Old Timers A race.  Richard Matuszek and Brian Sansing took 1st and 2nd in the Old Timer’s B race.

The racing will be back at The Barn on October 24th.  Hope to see you all there
